Montgomery First.
Save Jackson Hospital!

Jackson Hospital COULD CLOSE ON DECEMBER 31 because two Montgomery County Commissioners voted NO on a financial deal that would have saved it.

What’s at stake:

2,200 jobs will be lost

188,000 patient visits per year – gone

Healthcare has a $4.5 BILLION economic impact for our region.

The county commission killed an $80 million investment from the state and city.

The Financial Deal They Rejected

The State of Alabama offered $40 million to save Jackson Hospital.

The City of Montgomery voted unanimously to contribute its share.

But the Montgomery County Commission voted NO TO SAVE JACKSON HOSPITAL by a 2-2 vote. The Commission voted against spending an additional $7.5 million to save Jackson Hospital.

Who Voted to KILL Jackson Hospital?

Commissioner Dan Harris, Jr.
District 1

Commissioner Isaiah Sankey
District 4

Here’s what makes it worse

The same county commissioners who won’t spend $7.5 million to save our hospital just voted to spend $6.5 million on a community center.

That’s right. Commissioners Harris and Sankey can find the money for a new community center – WITH COMMISSIONER HARRIS’ NAME ON IT – but voted NO on healthcare for hundreds of thousands of Montgomery citizens.

They put buildings before healthcare. They put politics before people.

Time is Running Out.
Demand a New Vote NOW.

The deadline for new funding is December 31st. Without action, Jackson Hospital could close.
